The Bengals it will be their first appearance in the Hall of Fame Game since 1988.That year they defeated the Los Angeles Rams 14-7.The Cowboys last appeared in 1999 losing to Cleveland 20-17
This year the Dallas Cowboys will represent the NFC and the Cincinnati Bengals will represent the AFC.The Pro Football Hall of Fame game is far from a hall of fame worthy match-up because like week one of every game of the NFL Exhibition season the starters will play a series or two and give way to the players trying to make the team.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame Game is an annual National Football League exhibition game that is held the weekend of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s induction ceremonies.The game is played at Fawcett Stadium which is located next door to the Hall of Fame building in Canton Ohio.

Coryell’s death on Thursday was announced early Friday by officials with the San Diego Chargers, where Coryell served as the head coach of the Dan Fouts led Chargers between 1978 and 1986 to lead one of the most prolific passing attacks in the hstory of the National Football League.
Don Coryell (October 17, 1924 – July 1, 2010) was a former American football coach, who coached in the NFL first with the St. Louis Cardinals from 1973–1977 and then the San Diego Chargers from 1978-1986. He was well-known for his innovations to football’s passing offense. Coryell’s offense was commonly known as “Air Coryell”. He was inducted into the San Diego Chargers Hall of Fame in 1986. Coryell was a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
“It’s crazy that when you look back at the history of this city, he got hired on the same day as that PSA crash,” said Hank Bauer, who was a running back and special teams star with the Chargers then. “That really was one of the darkest days in this city’s history and it became one of the brightest days in the history of sports.
