Lindsay Lohan’s dad is concerned about how her time in jail will affect her Ali . Michael Lohan says he’s worried that Ali will be left in the hands of Lindsay’s “bimbo friends” . Michael says that he made the decision to fly to L.A. for Lindsay’s court hearing so he could be sure Ali was safe. Apparently Ali has been living with Lindsay and not with Dina. “I don’t think that anyone thought that Lindsay was going to go to jail except for me. I came out here because I knew it was a very, very possible thing. And my concern, at that point, was if Lindsay went to jail and Ali was with her and she’s only 16, who is she going to be with? Lindsay’s bimbo friends? So I had to be there.” Michael was so worried that he placed a 911 call from the courthouse right after Lindsay’s jail sentence was announced. “I knew there was going to be an issue, so I went and called 911. I called the Beverly Hills Police Department. I said, listen, ‘I’m Michael Lohan; my daughter Lindsay is just getting sentenced to jail time; they might take her away and my 16 year old is going to be on her own. I’m her father and I don’t know the people she’s with… I want to take her with me and I’m afraid there’s going to be a problem.’ ” Really? That warranted a call to 911? I mean, the police departments have other numbers to reach officers for non-emergency situations. Am I crazy for wondering why he called 911? Anybody with me here? AND if Ali is staying with Lindsay and Lindsay goes to jail, wouldn’t you think Ali would go back home to stay with her mother since SHE has custody, not Michael? Oy!

When Lindsay Lohan appeared in court last week and was subsequently sentenced to 90 days of jail time , she used her meticulously taken notes to hide her face . In doing so, she also gave us a glimpse of her boxy, block letter handwriting. Over the weekend, we had a professional handwriting analyst look over the notes and give us some insight into what the writing says about Lindsay. “In my opinion, anyone who writes in capitals has something to cover up,” the analyst, Andrea Lyttleton told us. “Due to the excessive rigidity of the writing, lack of fluidity and cramped up lines, this shows an obsessive personality who likes and needs to be in control.” Though you may think Lindsay’s “out of control,” her attention-seeking and other behaviors actually do show an obsessive need for control. For example, when Lindsay’s lawyer quit, she immediately shopped for a new one and now seems to think she can get out of her jail time . Lindsay’s done a lot in recent years in what seems to be a grab for attention. She also reportedly takes a whole slew of anti-depression medications and painkillers . In terms of her writing, “The red ink and rising lines are indicative of someone who needs attention and draws attention to themselves. This could also be some indication of a fight against depression.” Post from: Crushable Lindsay Lohan’s Handwriting Professionally Analyzed

Lindsay Lohan’s mother, Dina Lohan , confirmed to Entertainment Tonight yesterday that Lindsay plans to appeal the judge’s ruling to send her to jail and then a rehab program. Radar Online claims to have the rationale behind the appeal: to buy some time . “Lindsay’s lawyer only has to file a notice of appeal with Judge (Marsha) Revel, and under terms of California law–particularly misdemeanor probation appeals–the defendant must be granted bail,” the source said, “Judge Revel will be forced to give Lohan bail pending the appeal, and Lilo wouldn’t even have to appear in front of Judge Revel again.” The insider goes on to say, “the appeal will take six months to a year to be heard. It’s highly unlikely that Lohan’s appeal will be successful. However, it will keep her out of jail for at least the next six months to a year.” A defense attorney echoed the sentiment that an appeal is highly unlikely to be successful to People: ” There is absolutely zero chance of Lindsay winning an appeal because there’s overwhelming evidence of her repeatedly violating her probation and the court’s orders,” says criminal defense attorney Trent Copeland, who’s not involved with the case. “That is undisputed.” People.com identified Tiffany Federer-Cohen as Lindsay’s new attorney, but other sources are claiming it’s Stuart V. Goldberg (pictured below). Apparently, the search for an attorney wasn’t easy.

“We always cooperate with our law enforcement partners. If this is someone they would like to speak to or extradite, we are always willing to cooperate with them within the limits of the law.”
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said women sent to jail for nonviolent crimes generally serve 25% or less of their sentence due to overcrowding.
Meanwhile, Lindsay’s very weird mother Dina Lohan tells PopEater, “This is so not fair to do this to my child.”

I am amazed every day. I’ll read some blurb in some gossip thing, and I will read the user comments that are so hateful. It’s so weird. I think people have a really twisted, wrong impression of who she is, what she’s all about, and the bottom line is that she is a brilliant actor. Wilder has been steadfast with his support for his star. “I love her so much,” he told MTV News in May. “I think she is so fantastic.
The judge in Lindsanity’s probation violation case pointed out to Lohan the numerous times she has lied in the past and was unsympathetic to the actress’ tears when she spoke to the court.

Remember when Amy Winehouse couldn’t get her ass to the 2008 Grammys because America wouldn’t give her a visa (yet for some reason we’ll take Lindsay Lohan back, sans passport)? Well, Amy’s not been on her best behavior recently, what with the “r ecent tumbling down the staircase and damaging her new boobs inciden t” so US customs is still nixing the idea of her coming and damaging our pristine celebrity reputation. Which is quite hurtful to Amy and her new collaborators, Roots drummer/Brooklyn Bowl DJ ?uestlove and producer Raphael Saadiq , who are based here in America, and are trying to make this new group happen . “I’m off to France soon so I’ll see if she’s up for discussing it over dinner. We’re Skype-ing the shit out of each other,” says ?uestlove (pronounced Questlove). Guess these guys have never heard of Gchat.
