Hi. Up for auction is a Maestro W2 “Sound System For Woodwinds” There’s a few things on the “net” about this unit (google it), but one thing that is said is that it needs the foot pedal to operate all of the features. This appears to be true for the W3 model, but the W2 doesn’t even have an input for a footswitch, and ALL of the features are available from the front panel anyway. Please see the demo video that I made with this exact machine to hear it, and see it in action (please excuse the guitar playing). Hello and welcome to my auction for this great multi effects rack mount unit.This item was purchased in 1995 from Musical Exchanges in Birmingham at a cost of £995.Since then the unit has been used entirely at home and has never left the house, so as you can imagine, it is in perfect working order and great condition. In its day this unit was one of the best available and today it is still regarded as an awesome piece of kit. It incorporates 200 effects patches, 100 of which can be entirely customised to give just about any sound imaginable. You can even build your sound from scratch, name it and save it to memory. Briefly the effects included are: compression; distortions; graphic EQ; equalizers; reverbs; gated reverbs; delays; modulated delays; samplers; choruses; flangers; pitch shifters; detuners; arpeggiators; noise gates; silencers; tremolos; auto panners; phasers; wahs; duckers; phase inverters; mixers; guitar tuning. Not too bad is it. The unit has the original user manual in fair but readable condition but i do not have the original box. You can also purchase a floor pedal unit (Digitech Control One) if you plan to gig it but i didn’t need this for home use. Anything i have left out please do not hesitate to ask.
